What the change means
The base STC factor reduces from 6.8 to 5.7. Your actual discount also depends on eligible usable capacity, battery-size tiers and certificate value.
A booking or deposit does not lock in the rebate. Installation and certification timing matter. Availability is subject to site assessment.

Adding a battery
to your solar.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar?
In many homes, yes. The right setup depends on your existing inverter, switchboard, solar system and installation location. We assess compatibility before recommending an AC-coupled or hybrid solution.
How much could I save?
Savings depend on your excess solar generation, evening electricity use, tariff, battery capacity and system cost. We’ll discuss these factors with you rather than promise a fixed saving.
Am I eligible for the federal battery rebate?
Eligible batteries must be installed with new or existing solar and meet the scheme’s product, installation and capacity requirements. Only one battery STC claim is available per premises. We’ll check your circumstances before including a discount in your quote.
What size battery do I need?
Start with your evening consumption and how much spare solar you generate. An electricity bill and, where available, interval data help us recommend a useful capacity without guessing.
Will a battery work during a blackout?
Backup requires a compatible system and the appropriate backup equipment and wiring. It is not included with every battery installation. Tell us which circuits you want backed up so we can assess and quote them.
